One25 services have been developed to meet women at their point of need, with love and practical support.
Our values guide and influence all our work: person-centred, justice, unconditional love, non-judgemental, compassionate, truthful, willing to see things through. Last year supported 237 women. And it makes a very real difference.
"I got food, a hot drink and a bit of warmth - they showed me the first glimmer of love, care and acceptance I had known for a very long time. It was the first human contact that didn't involve some kind of transaction from as far back as I can remember."
- Sandra
Our night outreach service is a lifeline for nearly 110 women still trapped on Bristol’s streets. It’s often their vital first step towards a healthier lifestyle.
Our afternoon drop-in centre provides practical and emotional support: from basic needs, such as a nutritious lunch to expert advice and crisis care.
Our specialist caseworkers offer intensive one-to-one care in any area of need: from support in court to finding somewhere safe to live.
The Peony service is, for women who are further on in their recovery. It develops wellbeing and skills to reach their goals in the community.
Also, Pause works with women in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire who have had two or more children removed from their care. The programme offers them a chance to take control of their lives and to develop new skills and responses.
