Happy Volunteers Week 2022! A thank you from staff at One25 for making the work possible. Without you, the women we work with wouldn’t have the vital services that reach out to them, love them and never give up on them.
This Volunteers Week, we wanted to say the hugest, hugest thank you to all of our incredible volunteers. We could not do the work that we do at One25 without you.
You are at the heart of our organisation. You bring so much joy and love and passion and dedication and laughter. And it is completely infectious and it runs throughout the whole of our organisation.
The impact that you have is huge. So this Volunteers Week, we just wanted to take a moment to show our love and appreciation. Here’s a few messages from the staff team…
Hi to our dedicated and committed van volunteers. What would we do without you? Thank you for your commitment and your dedication to us. We could not run our services if you weren’t there to support us. We love yooouuu!
Ariana: Without you, our peer volunteers, Peony would not be the same. You provide the women much needed inspiration and a sense of hope that they can achieve what you have.
Gabby: Without you, our cooks, we wouldn’t be able to provide such lovely nutritious meals to the women every day. We really appreciate your creativity and your commitment.

To our wonderful Board of Trustees: without you, we wouldn’t have the amazing skills, expertise and guidance that we need to sustain and build our charity to be as excellent as it is. Thank you.
Lara: Hello volunteers, we’re the drop-in team [Lara, Rachel, Polly, Eve, Amy]. We just wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful work that you do. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to offer such a loving, warm space for the women to come and spend their time in.
Rachel: Without our volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to open drop-in.

Thank you, prayer volunteers. Without you, the women wouldn’t know where to go when they’ve got prayer requests or when they need faith. (Just in case you’re wondering [she’s dressed in a banana costume], I’m a banana for our most recent fundraiser.) Thank you very much for all you do!
Thank you to all our admin volunteers. Without you, everyone – including me! – would have a lot more admin work to do that keeps this place running every day. Thanks!
