We’re really fortunate to work closely with BrisDoc who provide the Homeless Health Service in Bristol. It’s hard to sum up how amazing they are.

This and last week, nurses were able to offer flu jabs at drop-in and there is a regular GP clinic here twice a week.

The BrisDoc team treat people with respect and dignity. Their approach and understanding is second to none. With the support of practitioners like Dr Lucy and Nurse Sheila, the women at One25 can access the treatment and care they need.

They offer a flexible, warm and friendly health service to people who struggle to access mainstream health services. They offer support with physical and mental health needs, advice around substance misuse, harm reduction and treatment options. They advocate for people to access services to get the support they need. We would be lost without them.

Here, Dr Lucy Potter talks about the sense of joy in drop-in and how the clinic at One25 is for many women the only health service they feel they can safely access.
