“A total of 24 neighbours and friends came, and it was a lovely opportunity for our friendly street to get together. Most people were really interested to hear about One25, and said they hadn’t realised what good work was going on so near us. I was tremendously encouraged by the positive response and several people signed up for further news.
We didn’t have to turn the house upside down and we are really enjoying eating up the cheese. There isn’t much wine left! I’m glad we did wine and cheese because we couldn’t have invited so many people to anything more formal, and it meant we could encourage friends to drop in when convenient rather than having to commit to the whole time.”
