Sign up now to raise awareness and funds for women who street sex work and face multiple disadvantages like homelessness, addiction, and abuse. You can help them heal and thrive.
One night sleeping outside won’t compare to the adversities faced by women who are homeless and street sex work. But swapping your comfort for compassion and undertaking a fundraising challenge will help to support the city’s most marginalised women and put the challenges they endure into perspective.
Each year One25 supports around 240 women who are street sex-working in Bristol. Over 72% of these women are or have recently experienced homelessness. This number is rising: more and more women are in unsafe housing and are living on the streets. By sleeping out, you can help us support these women out of crisis and into independence in the community.
"One25 is a huge part of my life and has really supported me. When I first came through the doors, I remember being made to feel welcome, and I felt safe. At last, I knew I wasn't alone. I wouldn't have my flat without being supported when I was homeless."

Homelessness for women can look different. It can be invisible.
You may never see the women we support sleeping rough or lining up at night shelters. Their homelessness is hidden. It is so hidden that there are 23 times more women rough sleeping than the government counts. 15 women were recorded by the 2024 Government Rough Sleeping snapshot, whereas 349 were identified by Bristol’s first women’s census 2024. This is because these women experience a restless and relentless form of homelessness. Getting into cars. Going from house to house. Night after night of moving and never stopping.
By taking part in Sleep Out 2025, you’ll help raise awareness and support these women to escape such dangerous cycles and find a pathway to safety, stability, and support.
