Between 28 November and 5 December, One25 took part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, hoping to raise £80,000 to support our outreach, health hub and casework services.
Thanks to our Big Give champions, a pot of £40,000 was available to match donations made through the Big Give website during the Challenge week.
Gifts of £50 became £100 – which could fuel the van for a month, enabling our teams to reach out to women street sex-working in Bristol.
£150 became £300 – which could pay for a specialist caseworker to help a woman flee an abusive partner and get to a place of safety.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the campaign. Your incredible generosity means we can continue to offer help and hope to women living with trauma.
Women street sex-working in Bristol are facing stigma, hardship and violence. Last year 74% of the women we supported experienced increased poverty. We’ve seen reports of violence more than double since the pandemic.
We believe every woman deserves care, not judgement.
We’re there during the day and at night; weekdays and weekends; on dark streets and in the community.
Wherever she is in her life, we support her to find safety and healing.

We’re taking part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge, an annual campaign that offers supporters of participating charities the opportunity to double their donations at no extra cost!
One25 has access to a ‘match pot’ of funding worth £40,000. When you donate to One25 through The Big Give website, your donation will be matched by funds in the pot, doubling its value to One25.
£10 will become £20. £250 will become £500!
Donations can be doubled between 12noon on Tuesday 28 November and 12noon on Tuesday 5 December 2023.
Please note: The Big Give will only match donations made via their website.
Donations can be made via the Big Give website using a credit card, debit card, Google Pay or Apple Pay.
Donations of £500 can be made by BACS transfer. More information is available here.
You can continue to donate to One25 by cheque or other offline methods but unfortunately these donations won’t be matched.
When making a donation via the Big Give website, you have the opportunity to give an optional tip to The Big Give. The tip will go towards the costs of running the Big Give, such as providing the website service, and will be paid to The Big Give, not One25. Leaving a tip is voluntary and you can opt not to.
To remove the tip, choose the ‘Other’ option and type £0.
