Quoting from Isaiah 61 (in Mark 4), Jesus declares that he is to ‘proclaim good news to the poor, proclaim freedom to captives and to set free the oppressed’. The expanded version in Isaiah includes: to heal the broken hearted; to comfort all who mourn; to give beauty instead of ashes and splendid garments instead of despair and to restore that which was devastated.
This sums up the work of One25.
