Organisational Support Manager (full time)

Are you an inspirational leader with proven experience in managing office services, resources and people across an organisation to provide a professional service? Do you have excellent organisational skills and planning and physical resourcing ability which you want to use to support the staff and some of Bristol’s most marginalised women? Do you have the experience to support a team to offer support services including first point of contact, IT, admin and to support our events, along with an interest in supporting us to plan new services to meet an ambitious business plan? 

One25 is a highly respected, Bristol-wide charity for women moving from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. Our team of committed staff take a person-centred approach to offer a range of services: van outreach, drop in and casework services support for women involved in street sex work. Our Pause programme supports women who have had children removed from their care and Peony supports women to take positive steps forward in their recovery from trauma. As One25’s Organisational Support Manager, you will join a dynamic and passionate staff team and a Senior Management Team (SMT) who have clear ambitions for One25 and the progress of the women. Do you have the skills, dedication and drive to join us as we change and grow?

You would need to:

  • Have excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Have experience of managing a team who offer a high quality internal service across an organisation and sites
  • Have strong IT skills and be able to manage the physical environment of our premises so that there is a good working environment for all staff
  • Be able to develop good relationships with external suppliers to ensure the quality of One25’s support services.
  • Think creatively, work well under pressure and analyse complex information.
  • Have strong leadership skills and be able to bring strategic perspective to the senior management team
  • Learn quickly and pick up and manage a range of projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning and changing charity in a senior role within One25. The post-holder will have management experience, experience of working in the sector and/or with a complex client group in a similar role and they will have wide ranging responsibilities for the performance and the development of One25. They will be strongly supported in their work. The post is managed by the CEO.

The Organisational Support Manager role is being restructured from the former role of Finance and Resources Manager, creating two roles, a Finance role and an Organisational Support Manager role. This is in line with One25’s growth over the last few years and supports capacity for ongoing growth. We hope there will be a handover with the current post holder to support induction.

Benefits: Generous leave (33 days including bank holidays) plus up to 13 additional days’ time off in lieu; flexible working hours and great job satisfaction.

Hours: 37.5 hours a week over 5 days (including occasional evening and weekend commitments)

Salary: £34-36,000
