We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic intern to assist One25’s fundraising and communications teams in meeting their targets. She or he will have great research, writing and communication skills and will be a team worker who can also work independently. In return we offer a placement which will give the successful applicant the skills and knowledge needed to kick-start a career in fundraising and/or communications.
Purpose of the Fundraising and Communications Intern’s role

You will gain an introduction to working in the voluntary sector, gaining a working knowledge of the tools and techniques needed to raise funds through different sources; an understanding of why and how donors give; experience in fundraising campaigns and an introduction to charity communications.
Responsible to: Fundraising and Communications Manager
Hours: 15 hours per week over 2-5 days.
Salary: £8.21 per hour for 245 hours.
Start date: ASAP but ideally week commencing 10 June 2019.
Evidence of right to work in the UK will be required.
