My One25 Miles

Will you go the extra mile for One25 this July, in a challenge as unique as you are? Walk, run, cycle or swim 125 miles or the distance that suits you. And raise what you can to help disadvantaged women get the vital support they need.

You set the pace and the place!

Whether you step it daily, run it in chunks or pedal it in a weekend – anyone can do My One25 Miles! Whatever your fitness level or time constraints, make every step count as you take on this Summer challenge. Go it alone, or bring in your friends to make it a communal effort. Track your mileage as you go and ask your people to sponsor you along the way. It’s free to take part and you’ll receive our support and fundraising advice throughout.

By completing My One25 Miles, you’ll be helping us reach some of the most marginalised women in Bristol, supporting them to be safe. .

This challenge is open to everyone so why not spread it across your school, your workplace, your friends, family and community! Set your sights on raising £125 (or more) for One25 – with your determination and our expertise we know you can do it!

Why take part

We support some of our city’s most marginalised women, offering them kindness and practical support, without judgement or expectation. By taking part in My One25 Miles, you can help women continue to access our vital services and make a difference in their lives.

£20 could pay for a week’s Freephone service to the outreach van, giving women a direct lifeline to vital support.

£6 could stock the outreach van for a night, giving women the vital nourishment and supplies that they need.

£70 could support a woman to complete a homelessness application, supporting her to enter the homelessness pathway and get the housing support she needs.

Asking people for donations can be scary at first, but don’t worry! We’ve got plenty of ideas that will build your confidence and make it much easier (and enjoyable) than you ever thought possible! Who can take part?

This challenge is for everyone of any ability to complete your challenge in your own way.

How can I complete My One25 Miles?

Take a long hike every Sunday, or do 4 miles every day – it really is up to you. Form a team with your friends or colleagues, or go solo! You can tailor your mileage target or the timeframe of your challenge to make it perfect for your ability and lifestyle. 

When can I complete My One25 Miles?

Anytime you like! We suggest from 1st till 31st July but you can feel free to adapt that to suit you.

Can I take part as a team?

Yes! By taking part as a team you can set a bespoke target, and split the mileage between members to complete. Let us know who is in your team so we can cheer you all on!
