We learn from the poor and the poor in spirit as we come alongside them. As a member of a faith community you can support our work by using your voice, connections and creativity; giving your time, money and items; and you can pray.
Be a link between One25 and your faith community and help to promote our work. You could share our news by speaking in services and meetings, or putting an item in your newsletter, on your noticeboard or social media. Request a speaker from One25 by emailing speaking@one25.org.uk
Ask to host a One25 stand at events and encourage people to get involved. Contact Rachel for more info.
Volunteer on the night outreach van, in the daytime Health Hub or in the office supporting our admin and fundraising staff.
Whether you have a lot or a little, give what you can to help more women to heal and thrive.
You could also donate goods such as clothing, warm accessories and home-made cakes. Why not organise a collection in your community?
For those of faith, prayer can be a powerful weapon in the battle against oppression.
Join the ‘Vision for the Vulnerable’ prayer meetings, which are delivered in collaboration with Beloved and Spring of Hope who also support vulnerable women in Bristol.
You can also sign up for the prayer letter for regular updates.
Vision for Vulnerable is an event that aims to bring together people who have a heart to serve and love the vulnerable in the city of Bristol. It is a time for those who are on the front line working with the vulnerable to share what has been going on in their field of work, to encourage one another of the breakthroughs we are seeing and to come together in prayer.
Our vision is not only to gather together and pray but to empower one another to know the best and most appropriate ways of supporting the vulnerable on a daily basis. We would love to invite you to join us in supporting the incredible work that is going on in our city.
