At the moment we are in particular need of black gloves and socks to give out on the van.
We have no space to store other clothes or toiletries. We’ll update this page as soon as our stocks are running low again.
In the meantime, if you wish to donate clothes, the Salvation Army Community Shop at 110 Cheltenham Road is open Mon-Sat 9.30-4.30 and is very happy to take donations.
Bake or buy cakes for the drop-in and van outreach. This includes cakes, cupcakes, muffins, cookies, brownies…any delicious sweet baked goods! Note: please don’t include alcoholic ingredients and do label for any major allergy groups.
Each Easter, we like to give out chocolate eggs to the women to mark the season and make them feel loved and at Christmas we give out gifts to the women and their children. Please get in touch with Shiona on firstname.lastname@example.org or 0117 909 4390 if you’re interested in giving at these times of year.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters we have enough toiletries and feminine hygiene products for the time being. The Trussell Trust is currently looking for donations of both if you have some you’d like to donate.
We are unable to accept these items. There are other charities across the city that would be able to put your unwanted items to good use. Three examples are:
The Baby Bank Network – click here to see their website
Brighter Bristol Storehouse – click here to see their website
Sofa Project – click here to see their website
